The Global Cardiovascular Innovation Center was established by a State of Ohio Third Frontier Grant. The incubator facility was built in partnership with the Cleveland Clinic and Fairfax Renaissance Development Corporation.
The Industrial Advisory Board (IAB) provides strategic business advice and links to financial and management resources to support the commercialization of Cleveland Clinic technology. The IAB is made up of venture capitalists, corporate executives, and technologists. The IAB offers guidance on high-potential technology licenses, strategy, and all potential spin-offs. The IAB Investment Committee advises on investments and company creation.
The Commercialization Council consists of Cleveland Clinic medical, research, and business staff. It meets monthly to provide policy and operational guidance to Innovations.
The Innovations Alliance enables CCI to partner with other organizations to create a coalition that is dedicated to delivering medical innovation to patients. The Innovations Alliance strives to develop a national network that benefits the sick through joint innovation, research, clinical investigation, technology development and commercialization.
The Innovations HIT team guides our Cleveland Clinic and Alliance partners on how to architect, develop, and validate, their health informationtechnologies for successful commercialization.
