Guided Imagery for Surgery

What is guided imagery?

Guided imagery is a proven form of focused relaxation that helps create harmony between the mind and body. Guided imagery coaches you in creating calm, peaceful images in your mind - a "mental escape.

Research has shown that when we imagine an experience, we have the same mental and physical responses as we do when the event actually happens. The guided imagery audio tracks are designed to help you create a positive, helpful healing experience. You will be guided through the surgical process with information about how you can expect your body's healing network to respond during and after your surgery, so you are able to experience a more rapid and complete recovery.
